Lions Gate Portal 8/8 - How to Release, Align and Manifest

Every year, we hype up this day as the day when a magical portal opens up and we have the ability to manifest our desires.

But what really is happening.

It is associated with the Sun in Leo and with Sirius, the brightest star visible from Earth. The connection all this creates, is the ability to shed old limitations, activate our DNA to move into higher realms of consciousness.

Leo carries the energy of the heart, courage, self-expression, confidence and personal power.

In numerology 8 is associated with abundance, power, manifestation and the relationship between our spiritual and material worlds.

The number 8, when turned sideways, becomes the symbol of infinity — a continuous flow without beginning or end.

So, 8/8 becomes a beautiful reminder of something I deeply believe -

What exists within us eventually begins to reflect around us and this stands in continuity of my blog posts The Guru within me and The Guru returns home.

You may have heard people call this day as one of the most powerful manifestation days of the year.

But manifestation is not simply about making a wish.

We often think of manifestation as deciding what we want

A kind of relationship.

An amount of money.

Success in a certain field.

A new home.

Healing abilities.

A business.

An opportunity.

A completely different life.

And there is nothing wrong with wanting these things.

However,  there is another part of manifestation that we sometimes forget.

Who are you being while you are asking for them?

You may consciously desire abundance while unconsciously believing that money is difficult to receive.

You may desire love while carrying the belief that you will eventually be abandoned.

You may want success while simultaneously fearing visibility.

You may ask for a new beginning while still energetically holding on to everything that belongs to the old one.

This is why manifestation is not only about intention.

It is also about alignment.

Our desires may show us where we want to go.

Our inner work reveals what may be preventing us from getting there.

And powerful spiritual moments such as the Lion’s Gate can become beautiful opportunities to look at both.

The Lion’s Gate Invitation

I have noticed that sometimes, we don’t even know what we are asking for and why we are even asking for that manifestation. If I am not aligned to what I ask, then the Universe also cannot align us to that ask.

Instead of using 8/8 only to ask: “What do I want to manifest?”

I invite you to go a little deeper.

Ask yourself: Who would I need to become to live the life I am asking for?

If you desire abundance, perhaps you are being invited to deepen your sense of worthiness.

If you desire love, perhaps you are being invited to open your heart again.

If you desire success, perhaps you are being asked to stop hiding your gifts.

If you desire peace, perhaps there are situations you are finally ready to release.

If you desire a completely new chapter, perhaps life is asking whether you are willing to close the old one.

A Simple Lion’s Gate Manifestation Practice

Find a quiet space where you will not be disturbed. You may light a candle, play soft music, sit in meditation, or simply close your eyes.

Place one hand over your heart.

Take a few slow breaths.

With every exhale, imagine yourself becoming quieter inside.

Then ask:

What am I ready to release?

Do not force an answer.

Allow it to arise.

Perhaps it is fear.

Perhaps it is the need for approval.

Perhaps it is a relationship, belief, identity or version of yourself that no longer belongs in the life you are creating.

Acknowledge it.

Thank it for whatever it may have taught you.

And allow yourself to release it.

Then bring your awareness back to your heart and ask:

What would I love to experience in the next chapter of my life?

Allow yourself to dream without immediately asking how it will happen.

See it.

Feel it.

Experience it within your imagination.

And then ask one final question:

Who am I when this is already my reality?

How does that version of you think?

How does you speak?

How do you treat yourself?

What choices does you make?

Feel it

Because manifestation is not simply calling something towards you.

Sometimes it is about walking towards the version of yourself who is already able to hold it.

Once you have finished your meditation, write down what came through.

After your Lion's Gate practice, choose One Action that reflects the life you said you are ready for.

Send the email.

Start the project.

Set the boundary.

Make the phone call.

Sign up for the class.

Say no.

Say yes.

Rest.

Begin again.

Whatever your next step is, let it tell the Universe — and more importantly, let it tell YOU:

I am ready.

There is one final thought I would love you to carry with you through this Lion’s Gate.

You do not need to approach manifestation believing that something outside of you will finally make you whole.

Your desires are not evidence that something is missing from you.

They may simply be invitations.

To expand.

To experience.

To create.

To love.

To serve.

To express another part of yourself.
